About The Position

Zions Bank is seeking a Traveling Teller to support its branches across a geographical area. This role offers an opportunity to gain a broad skill set in banking fundamentals and networking. The Retail Support department consists of traveling tellers and bankers who fill in at branches due to absenteeism. The mission of this department is to support branches, help them achieve strategic objectives, and uphold Zions Bank's company vision. The minimum pay for this position is $17 per hour. This position primarily supports branches in the western Salt Lake and Tooele County area, with occasional travel to other areas as needed. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel over 25 miles round trip from home.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Some cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience
Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products and/or banking
Solid balancing and customer service skills
Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients needs

Responsibilities

Accurately process debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures, while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
Identify and address clients' needs by providing a variety of services which may include opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activation ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, receiving loan payments, etc.
Resolve client's problems either through direct personal action or referral to alternative branch or bank resources.
Identify and maximize cross-sell opportunities through exploring needs.
Performing other duties as assigned.
