About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Traveling Technician (Pump, Power & HVAC) based out of our rental facility in Bridgeport, WV, who will help support branches in Niagara Falls, NY; Leetsdale, PA; and Charleston, WV. This role involves providing maintenance and repair for a variety of customer and company-owned heavy equipment machinery and aerial lifts. The ideal candidate will be ready to grow with the company, bring energy and drive to their work, and help build the future of construction by working on the newest equipment in the industry.

Requirements

Must own tools applicable to position.
Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand and power tools, schematics and diagrams.
High School diploma, or equivalent.
Active applicable state class driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements.
Construction knowledge and background preferred.

Responsibilities

Travel and support branches within the assigned region by performing on-site equipment service, maintenance, and repairs.
Address hard and soft down equipment.
Conduct machine inspections and prepare units for use.
Work closely with customers, troubleshoot issues using real-time diagnostic tools, and apply electrical and hydraulic expertise to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
Use technology (laptops, tablets, and mobile phone) comfortably.
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools (pneumatic tools, material lifts, chain hoists, core drills, welders, pipe threaders, small engines) under the supervision of higher-tier technicians and while using a high degree of independent judgment.
Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis.
Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
