About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Traveling Technician (Facilities Maintenance) based out of Caddo Mills, TX. This role involves general maintenance and repair for a variety of customer and company-owned facilities, specifically Restroom Trailers and Tool Trailers. The position requires a significant amount of travel (70-85%) and utilizes EquipmentShare's proprietary T3 platform for managing work orders and accessing real-time data. Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of plumbing, basic carpentry, and facility diagrams.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Active applicable state class driver's license.
  • Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with portable toilet facilities or modular buildings is a plus.
  • Maintain knowledge of OSHA requirements.
  • Construction knowledge and background preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Use EquipmentShare's tech platform to create, assign, and monitor work orders.
  • Track machine service intervals and order parts.
  • Diagnose issues faster by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models.
  • Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and maintaining facilities.
  • Perform general carpentry tasks, including structural repairs to trailers, cabinetry adjustments, and door/hardware maintenance.
  • Execute minor plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks, unclogging lines, and replacing fixtures within portable units and restroom trailers.
  • Perform installs and preventative maintenance on a variety of rental bathroom trailers.
  • Use technology (laptops, tablets, and mobile phone) comfortably to manage work orders.
  • Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed in a complete and timely manner.
  • Participate in year-round company-provided OEM training.
