About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Traveling Technician (Facilities Maintenance) that can be based out of Charlotte, NC / Leetsdale, PA / or Baltimore, MD. This role is responsible for general maintenance and repair for a variety of customer and company-owned facilities (Restroom Trailers, Tool Trailers). The technician will use EquipmentShare's technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues. Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of plumbing, basic carpentry, and facility diagrams.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Active applicable state class driver's license.
  • Must be able to travel out-of-state for the majority of the week.
  • Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand and power tools, schematics and diagrams.
  • Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with portable toilet facilities or modular buildings is a plus.
  • Construction knowledge and background preferred.
  • Maintain knowledge of OSHA requirements (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and maintaining facilities.
  • Perform general carpentry tasks, including structural repairs to trailers, cabinetry adjustments, and door/hardware maintenance.
  • Execute minor plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks, unclogging lines, and replacing fixtures within portable units and restroom trailers.
  • Perform installs and preventative maintenance on a variety of rental bathroom trailers.
  • Use technology (laptops, tablets, and mobile phone) comfortably to manage work orders.
  • Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed in a complete and timely manner.
  • Participate in year-round company-provided OEM training.
