About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Traveling Technician (Facilities Maintenance) based out of Avondale, AZ. This role involves general maintenance and repair for customer and company-owned facilities, specifically Restroom Trailers and Tool Trailers. The position requires a proactive individual ready to grow with the company and provide comprehensive facilities support. The role utilizes EquipmentShare's proprietary T3 platform for managing work orders, tracking service intervals, ordering parts, and diagnosing issues. This is a people-first company powered by cutting-edge technology, aiming to transform the construction industry.

Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of plumbing, basic carpentry, and facility diagrams.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Active applicable state class driver's license.
  • Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with portable toilet facilities or modular buildings.
  • Maintain knowledge of OSHA requirements.
  • Construction knowledge and background.

Responsibilities

  • Use company technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders.
  • Track machine service intervals and order parts.
  • Diagnose issues faster by pulling data from various makes and models.
  • Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and maintaining facilities.
  • Perform general carpentry tasks, including structural repairs to trailers, cabinetry adjustments, and door/hardware maintenance.
  • Execute minor plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks, unclogging lines, and replacing fixtures within portable units and restroom trailers.
  • Perform installs and preventative maintenance on a variety of rental bathroom trailers.
  • Use technology (laptops, tablets, and mobile phone) comfortably to manage work orders.
  • Maintain complete and timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed.
  • Participate in year-round company-provided OEM training.
