About The Position

Renovo Construction is seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent. This role involves traveling to job sites across the country to manage on-site construction projects, oversee subcontractors, vendors, and laborers, and ensure project documents are implemented correctly. The Superintendent will be responsible for planning and maintaining site safety (adhering to OSHA requirements) and organization, creating weekly 2-week look-ahead schedules, and collaborating with clients and property teams to maintain the critical path schedule. This position offers the opportunity to work on projects for well-known retail brands and provides a stable pipeline of work.

Requirements

Ground up experience a MUST
Minimum of 5 years of construction supervisory experience in commercial construction
Experience estimating for retail real estate/shopping centers
Advanced knowledge of associated trades including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, etc.
Experience scheduling work, materials, manpower, subcontractors and equipment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to travel

Responsibilities

Managing on-site construction and with oversite of our Subcontractors, Vendors and Laborers
Planning, overseeing and maintaining site safety (OSHA requirements) and site organization.
Managing the implementation of the project documents with subcontractors
Creating and updating the 2-week look ahead every week.
Collaborating with client and property team to identify and maintain the critical path schedule.
