About The Position

Aldridge is seeking an Traveling Quality Manager (Mission Critical) to join our dynamic and energetic team in Monroe, LA. The Quality Manager aims to ensure that all project management processes and technical aspects of construction, including those provided by subcontractors and suppliers, are in accordance with corporate policies and contract requirements. In this role, you will support Project teams to ensure effective procedures are implemented to ensure that installations, workmanship, and materials comply with contract requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline, or equivalent Project Management &/or Quality Control experience.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in construction management and/or QA/QC, including several years as a Project QC Manager on major construction projects or programs.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, auditing procedures, USACE CQM, and project quality planning.
  • Effective leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, closely overseeing and tracking QA/QC details of multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office or Google Workspace applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Excels at time management and prioritization, consistently meeting deadlines while generating high-quality work
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a regional or corporate QA capacity is a plus.
  • Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) or Lead Auditor training preferred.
  • Bluebeam and Procore experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Implement corporate QA/QC standards and policies within the assigned region or divisions.
  • Review and approve project-specific Quality Control Plans (QCPs), and review project Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Ensure project teams comply with the company’s QMS and client requirements.
  • Plan and perform internal audits on regional projects, operations, and key suppliers.
  • Track, report, and support closure of non-conformances (NCRs) and corrective actions.
  • Provide QA performance reports and trend analyses to corporate leadership.
  • Support project management teams, quality managers and engineers with QMS interpretation, QC best practices, training, and problem-solving.
  • Facilitate management reviews and quality coordination meetings within the assigned divisions.
  • Evaluate subcontractors and vendors for compliance with quality requirements.
  • Facilitate or lead quality root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) investigations.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improving QA/QC processes and documentation.
  • Support knowledge capture, lessons learned meetings, and best practice sharing across projects and company wide.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of QA/QC training for regional personnel.
  • Travel for jobsite visits as required
  • Host regular performance conversations to set goals, provide feedback, and support the development of direct reports
