The Project Manager/Estimator’s primary duty is to bid and secure construction projects. Once projects are awarded, the Project Manager/Estimator manages the contract work from start to finish including scheduling, cost containment, monitoring progress, compliance, and client contact. This role involves seeking out bid opportunities, developing client relationships, estimating projects, coordinating pre-construction meetings, managing costs, handling billing, ensuring EEO/DBE compliance, and overseeing project safety, budget, and timelines. The position requires obtaining necessary permits, managing change orders, and maintaining communication with owners/general contractors. The role also ensures leadership is informed of important matters.
