About The Position

42 North Dental is seeking a Part-Time Pediatric Dental Assistant to provide clinical support, enhance patient-dentist relationships, and improve the efficiency of dental care delivery. This role involves traveling to multiple locations, requiring reliable transportation and a willingness to travel. Mileage reimbursement is provided. The position focuses on ensuring a positive patient experience through effective communication and quality care.

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation to travel between locations
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Strong verbal skills
• Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state
• Embrace a positive team approach to patient care

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures
• Provide post operative instructions and patient education
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
• Maintain dental supply inventory
• Perform other related job duties as assigned
