Dallas, TX| VA Medical Center Serve Those Who Served At PDS Optical, we don't just provide eyewear - we provide care, respect, and service to our Veterans. We're looking for a Travel Optician! In this role, you will be based out of the Dallas, TX VA. Travel would be anywhere in the United States and US Territories. Anticipated travel time would be 80%+. Why You’ll Love This Role $25-$30/hour 3% Commissions Travel across the Country The Typical schedule is Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Work in a professional VA medical environment What You’ll Do Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate service to our Veterans Fit, adjust, repair, and dispense eyewear with precision Deliver an exceptional patient experience every visit Collaborate with a supportive optical team Maintain compliance with VA security and background requirements What We’re Looking For Active Georgia Optician Licensed (required) Self-motivated Strong communication and customer service skills Experience with lensometers, pupilometers, and optical software Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment Dependable, detail-oriented, and service-driven Knowledge of VA optical benefits (preferred, not required) Benefits That Support You Competitive base pay Unlimited commissions and incentives Health, dental, life insurance, and more!
