About The Position

PDS Optical is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that manufactures a large number of eyeglasses daily, with optical laboratories in Louisville, KY and Fort Lauderdale, FL, and manages many optical stores across the US and Puerto Rico. The company takes great pride in its product and is especially thankful to produce eyeglasses for United States Veterans. This role is based out of the Louisville, KY VA Medical Center, with travel expected to be 80%+ across the United States and US Territories.

Requirements

• Active Florida Optician License (required)
• Self-motivated
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience with lensometers, pupilometers, and optical software
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and service-driven

• Knowledge of VA optical benefits (preferred, not required)
