About The Position

Alexander Forrest Investments (AFI) is a mid-sized, multifamily-real estate management company seeking a Portfolio Leasing Specialist. This role is challenging and offers significant professional growth opportunities. The Property Operations role is critical, requiring strong leadership, extensive marketing background, and a willingness to work long hours, including weekends, to achieve 100% completion of tasks. The position involves implementing effective marketing strategies across AFI's portfolio to meet occupancy goals. It requires extensive travel and onsite work at assigned properties, and is not a remote position. Employees should expect frequent overnight travel and reassignment based on business needs. In addition to base compensation, the chosen applicant will have opportunities for individual performance-based bonuses and bonuses tied to the global enterprise's growth.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead a team towards common objectives.
• Previous educational or work-related experience in Marketing.
• Must be able to provide a list of 2-3 professional references.

Nice To Haves

• Collegiate degree in an applicable field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute scaled systems primarily in the Leasing and Collection Department.
• Drive positive online ratings and reputation for each apartment project.
• Achieve KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for all aspects within the Leasing and Collections Department.
• Troubleshoot software, data, staffing, etc., as it relates to each apartment project.
• Evaluate and train all onsite teams on various Marketing platforms.
• Occasional travel will be required to work onsite at various apartment projects as well as travel for professional development and Business Development.
• Lead on-site teams to expected performance measures as directed by L&C.
• Complete online webinars with onsite teams to train/coach on various work items.
