As a Traveling Medical Assistant (TMA) on the Day of Evaluation Team, you will interact with doctors and applicants at clinic sites within your designated territory. Your responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service and administrative support to physicians throughout the medical evaluation process. Success in this role requires a collaborative spirit, enjoyment of teamwork, thriving in a fast-paced environment, strong customer service, time management, and problem-solving skills. You should possess a positive attitude, a willingness to assist where needed, and a commitment to delivering outstanding support to physicians and applicants. The TMA plays a crucial role in enhancing the physician and applicant experience by offering a unique combination of administrative and minimal clinical skills. TMAs are multiskilled professionals expected to perform both administrative and clinical tasks while ensuring outstanding customer service and maintaining positive engagement. They are also expected to contribute to quality improvement initiatives, emphasizing the importance of each claimant and physician. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience or front or back office healthcare administration required.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task is a must.
  • Must display excellent customer service skills, focused on delivering premium experience.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to problem solve and think critically.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Professional demeanor with strong customer service attitude.
  • Must be reliable to arrive on time at our clinical facilities.
  • All applicants must have a valid work authorization for the country in which they are applying.

Nice To Haves

  • Physiology, Anatomy, and medical terminology knowledge a plus.
  • Experience with monitoring and recording vitals for patients a plus (training is available).
  • Experience with intake assessments and managing new examinee forms.
  • Proficient knowledge in the use of various office related programs such as Excel, Word, Zoom, Teams, Google Meets, and Salesforce is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Arrive to all shifts as scheduled and fulfill them in their entirety.
  • Arrive in advance, prepared with all resources required for the day of evaluation.
  • Ensure the clinic is open, clean, and prepared for applicants and physicians to arrive.
  • Welcome applicants upon arrival, verifying their identity, and directing them to the correct location.
  • Greet the physician and ensure they have what they require from MDpanel for their day of evaluations.
  • Ensure all forms and patient/applicant intake are completed in advance of the evaluation.
  • Support the physician with taking vitals and measurements which include blood pressure, weight, height, among others, as requested by the physician.
  • Ensure the day's schedule is being kept, adjusting it based on no-shows or late arrivals, where necessary.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk, ensuring adequate supplies are stocked. This includes ordering any office or clinic supplies that are short in supply.
  • Prepare the clinic room before and after each evaluation.
  • Perform basic clerical tasks such as filing documents, making copies, and data entry.
  • Ensure all forms are completed, scanned and uploaded on the day of evaluation, prior to completing your shift.
  • Maintain a high level of physician and applicant satisfaction by providing positive interactions at all times.
  • Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Close and secure the clinic at the end of the evaluation day.
