About The Position
Centurion is seeking full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Teams in Illinois, Missouri, Georgia, Idaho, and Maryland. These positions offer opportunities throughout the country and are for benefit-eligible Centurion employees. The Eagle (Travel team) LPN will work at various facilities/locations within the assigned state, per contract needs, with each assignment restricted to one location. The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RNs) and medical and psychiatric staff, to address a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Requirements
- Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in the assigned state.
- IV Certification is required in some programs.
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital, or long-term care facility.
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/BLS.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
