About The Position
Centurion is seeking a Full-time Day Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Jefferson City Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. This role is a short-term/travel assignment. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care within their scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff to address physical and behavioral health needs. Travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees with opportunities nationwide.
Requirements
- Active unencumbered Missouri or Compact LPN License with IV-Certification.
- Must live 90+ miles from designated facility.
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital, correctional facility or long-term care facility preferred.
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year of travel nursing experience preferred.
