About The Position
Centurion is seeking full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Teams. These positions are located in Illinois, Missouri, Georgia, Idaho, and Maryland. Our travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees with opportunities nationwide. The Eagle (Travel team) LPN will work at various facilities/locations within the assigned state, based on contract needs, with each assignment restricted to a single location. The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within their scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RNs) and medical/psychiatric staff to address physical and behavioral health needs.
Requirements
- Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in the assigned state.
- IV Certification is required in some programs.
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital, or long-term care facility.
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/BLS.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
