About The Position

GRBS is hiring a full-time Traveling Lead Custodian to serve Ionia Public Schools and Portland Public Schools. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with one scheduled weekend per month, for 40 hours per week. Pay is $17.00 per hour plus paid mileage reimbursement and travel time.

The Lead Custodian helps maintain public school buildings by vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning restrooms, removing trash, and completing other assigned cleaning tasks. The position also leads and holds team members accountable, performs building walkdowns and nightly perimeter door checks, and communicates with the team. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must have valid auto insurance.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work each day.

Responsibilities

• Execute the clean building process.
