Traveling Installation Crew Member Traveling (BESS & Generator)
About The Position
RavenVolt is seeking motivated and hardworking Traveling BESS & Generator Installation Crew Members to support the installation of critical energy infrastructure projects across the United States. In this role, you will receive training in both rough-in and tie-in activities associated with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), generators, switchgear, transformers, and microgrid projects. - Ability to safely identify and utilize construction tools and equipment
Nice To Haves
- Hold an active electrical apprentice license
- Experience operating telehandlers, skid steers, mini excavators, or similar equipment
- Experience in electrical construction, commercial construction, industrial construction, or concrete finishing
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Prior generator, solar, BESS, or utility construction experience
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, productive, and fast-paced work environment
- Prepare jobsites by building forms, installing stone sub-bases, and pouring and finishing concrete equipment pads
- Excavate trenches for conduit and utility installations
- Install conduit systems, backfill trenches, and compact soil to project specifications
- Set and secure generators, switchgear, transformers, and BESS equipment
- Pull and terminate electrical conductors ranging from #6 AWG through 1000 MCM
- Perform medium-voltage cable installations and terminations
- Operate construction equipment, including telehandlers, skid steers, and mini excavators
- Follow all company, customer, and OSHA safety requirements
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe operating condition
