About The Position

Reliant Finishing Systems, established in 2005, is seeking a Traveling Installation Crew Member. We are a growing company that manufactures equipment for powder coating and industrial painting, as well as large-scale ovens for industrial curing applications. Our products are used by major companies across North America. We offer a challenging but informal environment where contributions are valued.

Requirements

• Ability to perform in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Valid/unrestricted driver's license.
• Must possess or be eligible for a U.S. passport for travel outside the United States.
• Ability to use hand tools and small power tools with extreme skill.
• Must be able to lift 70-pound parts without assistance.
• Climbing ladders, overhead reaching, bending, and squatting are all required.
• Effective time management skills.
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to respond professionally during on-site situations with difficult customers or contractors.
• Flexible schedule: ability to work 10+ hours per day and on weekends as needed.
• Must live within commuting distance of the company's home office in Sommerville, AL.

Nice To Haves

• Electrical/HVAC, gas plumbing, or related contractor's license.
• Familiarity with forklifts, scissor and bucket lifts.

Responsibilities

• Travel across the United States and Canada performing installation and interconnection wiring of industrial ovens and related equipment with on-site supervision.
• Perform on-site installation work and interconnection wiring of industrial machinery.
• Report on-site parts errors/shortages to supervisor.
• Report customer concerns to supervisor.
• Report installation issues to supervisor.
• Provide emergency on-site repair to equipment as needed.
• Perform limited machine operation tasks at factory when not deployed to installation sites.
