About The Position

Pearce is seeking experienced Travel Commercial HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC package units on Renewable Energy Sites located throughout United States. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Renewables industry. This position is up to 100% travel but candidates should reside in the Atlanta, Georgia area.

Requirements

Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
2+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).
Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems.
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.
Candidates should reside in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion.
Driving to remote work sites as needed.
Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).
Compliance with FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA Regulations.

Responsibilities

Maintaining commercial cooling package units on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire HVAC units.
Conducting performance checks and regular HVAC maintenance.
Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment.
Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.
Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
