About The Position

GeoStabilization International (GSI) is seeking an experienced Traveling Geohazard Mitigation Technician to join their team. This role involves working on projects across the U.S., applying skills in slope stabilization and geohazard mitigation systems. The technician will be responsible for executing safety plans, coaching and developing teammates, assisting with equipment maintenance, and communicating with clients and internal teams. GSI is a leading infrastructure solutions platform dedicated to protecting people and strengthening critical infrastructure, specializing in geohazard mitigation through innovative design-build delivery.

Requirements

2+ years in construction in Geotechnical, Environmental, Civil or similar industries on projects that involve casing or rock hammer drilling, shotcrete application, slope stabilization or soils work.
Expertise in one or more machines/tools used in the work above (shotcrete nozzles, grout pumps, casing drills or other)
Strong communication—clear, direct, solution-oriented
Ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping the crew aligned
Flexibility to travel and adjust schedules as needed
Driver’s license
