About The Position

The Traveling General Manager role will require the ability to travel approximately 85% of the time, helping to work at locations that will need coverage while a GM is off for a few days up to the need to help cover the gap in hiring a new GM which can take several weeks. It is expected that you will have very strong leadership skills and naturally walk into a restaurant to comfortably earn the trust of the staff, be approachable, kind and assess the immediate needs from staffing needs, service levels, administration needs, etc.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of successfully running a high-volume and upscale food focused restaurant
  • Proven experience delivering top-notch dining experiences
  • Compassion for people and embrace IRHG core values
  • Strong problem resolution skills and ability to proactively set the team up for success
  • Have exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to navigate important conversation

Responsibilities

  • Be the Solution: Oversee all facets of the restaurant, resolving any challenges that arise by maintaining effective communication with team-members and the community.
