About The Position

This position entails installing and repairing electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who provides high-quality workmanship, has excellent customer service skills in person and over the phone, and can multi-task under pressure. Must be able to work alone. Wage is determined by experience. This role requires extensive travel up to 85%. Requirements

Applicants are required to pass a pre-employment drug test, submit to a background check, and adhere to all OSHA, state, city and municipality safety requirements.
Must have a clean driving record with no DUI or DWI in the last 5 years.
Five or more years of experience in construction.
Ability to travel out of town during the week or on weekends.
Ability to lift and utilize heavy equipment safely.
Able to lift 75 pounds.
Must be able to keep up with the physical demands of the job.
Willingness to work nights and weekends as required.
Must always wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in compliance with Company standards and governmental regulations.
Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds.
The ability to climb ladders, bend, stoop, and work in awkward positions for several hours at a time is required.
Must be able to work during inclement weather.
Willingness to travel throughout the United States will be required based off of the needs of the project.
Highschool Diploma or GED preferred.
Possess and maintain a Journeyman License Preferred.
Proficient knowledge of the National Electric Code.
Experience with underground and site work.

Nice To Haves

California General Journeyman License is preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment.
Bend and install EMT, PVC, IMC, and GRC up to 2”.
Troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems.
Order and manage needed equipment and/or materials.
Interact with and support Alamon team members from other divisions.
Effectively communicate with all members of the project team.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
