About The Position

Xanitos is a specialist in Ambulatory Cleaning Services, providing professional cleaning services for medical office buildings, clinics, and outpatient surgery centers. Xanitos aims to provide support as a comprehensive solution to ambulatory care by providing Safety, Quality, Compliance and Trust. Xanitos is hiring Full Time Traveling Floor Technicians at Kaiser Permanente locations in the Atlanta, GA area and surrounding locations. The Ambulatory EVS Utility Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment in assigned location(s), as well as the delivery of equipment and cleaning chemicals. The Ambulatory EVS Utility Technician may also be called upon to assist keeping the premises of multiple locations in clean and orderly condition.

Requirements

Must have valid Driver's license
Successful applicants for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment unless they request and are granted a medical or religious exemption.
Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening, to include Department of Motor Vehicle check and Drug Test required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Driver’s License Required

Nice To Haves

Experience in the janitorial industry a plus
Medical cleaning a plus
Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
Prior knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning agents, equipment and methods of soil removal preferred.

Responsibilities

Sweeps, mops, buffs, polishes, scrubs, strips and refinishes hard-surface floors using heavy equipment
Vacuum, dry/wet bonnet, spot clean and extract carpet
Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
Properly process solid waste as well as infectious and pharmaceutical waste
Remove trash, recyclables, soiled linen, used supplies, and equipment from assigned work area
Disinfect receptacles and carts as needed
Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
Maintains storage closet.
Responds to environmental emergencies and requests for assistance.
Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas.
Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
Dusts furniture and equipment.
Polishes metalwork.
Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
Empties wastebaskets.
Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
Transport supplies and equipment to various locations within the region
Replenishes bathroom supplies.
Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
Sets up tables and chairs in auditorium or hall.
Ability to drive company vehicle in a safe manner
