About The Position

Clean Harbors is hiring Traveling Field Inspectors to support remediation projects throughout the United States. Inspectors work in the field alongside site supervisors and/or project managers to help ensure projects stay on schedule and budget and are conducted safely. The role requires 95–100% travel, generally on a six-weeks-away, one-week-home rotation; rotations may vary to meet business needs. The home week is paid. Individual accommodations, typically an extended-stay hotel with a kitchenette when available, are provided, and the company covers travel costs. Per diem is available during the rotation. Pay is $25 per hour, with considerable overtime available while traveling and in the field. The position combines hands-on field labor with project documentation and administrative support. Inspectors may work at wastewater treatment plants, soil remediation sites, and other project locations. The company will provide 40-hour HAZWOPER, OSHA 10, and potentially additional certifications, and employees will learn to calibrate air-monitoring meters and related health and safety equipment.
