About The Position

The Traveling Exhibits Program Intern will gain hands-on experience in exhibit marketing and partner relations, helping bring TCM's traveling exhibits to venues across the country. This intern will research and build out conference marketing materials, design a new e-newsletter template for the Traveling Exhibits team, and manage industry contacts as the program grows its network of venue and brand partners. Requirements

  • Completion of at least 2 years of college coursework
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, SharePoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred major or field of study: marketing, communications, or sales
  • Previous work experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Create a TRX e-newsletter template and first issue to be distributed biannually to venues and brand partners
  • Input industry contacts and venue partners into the Tessitura database
  • Research, design, and produce a handout advertising TCM TRX and available exhibits for distribution during conference season
  • Create a venue marketing survey to assess which ad templates are utilized most
  • Develop a system to receive inbound assets for review and communicate feedback to host venues
  • Develop an operations and installation manual template
