About The Position

Clean Harbors' National Remediation team is seeking Traveling Heavy Equipment Operators. The Heavy Equipment Operator will operate a variety of equipment, such as, backhoes, bulldozers, loader, screeners, excavators as well as other equipment. Candidates must also be willing and able to perform manual labor as required. This position will require 95% travel in all 48 contiguous states (all travel expenses are covered). The typical travel rotation for this group is 6 weeks out on a project (not coming home on weekends) and then 1 week off. Flying is required to get to project locations unless it is a local job.

Responsibilities

  • Operates heavy equipment such as bulldozers, compactors, excavators, etc.
  • Works either at a Clean Harbors facility or at a customer location.
  • Performs manual labor as required.
