About The Position

IPME Corp is an industrial installation construction company delivering projects across the United States. We are committed to safety, quality, and strong leadership on every job site. We are seeking an experienced Traveling Industrial Electrical Site Lead to oversee and coordinate all on-site electrical activities for industrial construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing crews, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining project timelines, and delivering high-quality work. This position requires frequent travel and the ability to lead small teams in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in industrial electrical work
  • Strong experience with installation, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings
  • Knowledge of NEC, OSHA regulations, and safety standards
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively (up to 75-100%)

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent experience)
  • OSHA 30 Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience in industrial or mechanical installations

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage electrical crews from project startup through completion
  • Inspect job sites to ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met
  • Monitor daily work progress and maintain accurate documentation
  • Ensure all work stays within project scope and assist with change orders and cost management
  • Interpret and execute blueprints, schematics, and specifications
  • Coordinate with project management, subcontractors, and field personnel
  • Lead site safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety policies
  • Track job hours and ensure accurate timekeeping with office coordination
  • Order and manage tools, equipment, and materials
  • Identify and resolve issues proactively to prevent project delays
  • Ensure compliance with NEC codes and industry standards
  • Prepare job status reports and maintain records
  • Obtain permits as required
