Requirements

3-5 years clinical experience as a Chairside Dental Assistant required.
Valid Driver’s License with no moving violations in the last 5 years.
Willingness to travel 20 minutes to 2.5 hours.
Must have own reliable transportation.
X-ray certification is required.

Responsibilities

Providing treatment to patients in Long-Term Care Facilities by working with the DDS, clinical staff, and facility staff.
Assisting the DDS with treatment.
Working with Clinical schedulers and nursing staff to ensure the facilities' needs are being met.
Transporting, setting up, and taking down equipment and supplies in the designated workspace.
Working with contacts at nursing homes to coordinate charts.
Entering chart notes for treatment at the time of treatment.
Maintaining dental equipment through regular cleaning and maintenance routines.
Inventorying supplies and ordering as needed.
Shipping and receiving denture cases from the lab on a daily basis.
