Traveling Contractor Field Services Team Member
About The Position
The Contractor Field Services Team Member plays a critical role in supporting customer projects through effective material coordination, inventory management, and jobsite support. By ensuring materials are received, prepared, delivered, and managed accurately and safely, this role helps keep projects moving forward and minimizes disruptions in the field. Success is measured by reliable execution, operational efficiency, and the ability to support positive project outcomes for customers and internal teams. This position requires temporary relocation away from your primary residence for approximately 6-18 months at a time.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel throughout the United States for extended assignments
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience
- Distribution center, warehouse, construction site, or field operations experience
- Forklift operating experience
- Experience with inventory management systems, ERP systems, or RF scanners
- Willingness to obtain a Class A or B CDL as necessary
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOT qualifications as necessary
Responsibilities
- Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment for customer projects
- Manage incoming and outgoing project materials
- Pick inventory, cut wire, label products, stage, and prepare orders for shipment
- Maintain inventory accuracy through tracking and cycle counts
- Support jobsite operations and material coordination
- Deliver materials, tools, and equipment as needed
- Inspect, maintain, and organize tools and equipment
- Operate forklifts, lifts, and other equipment safely
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environments
- Collaborate with customers and internal business partners
- Support continuous improvement and process optimization
- Cross-train and provide operational support across functions
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Manage company resources and travel-related expenses responsibly
