About The Position
This is a full-time position for a Traveling Project Engineer with 1-3 years of construction experience or relevant internships to support large-scale mechanical projects across the Midwest and East Coast. The role requires 75-100% travel for extended periods (weeks to months at a time), and candidates must be comfortable being on-site across multiple states. Requirements
- Degree (or in progress) in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Mechanical construction exposure (internship or field experience preferred)
- Strong skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness and ability to travel for projects
- Field internship or project engineering experience supporting Project Managers on either large-scale HVAC Mechanical installation projects or construction projects
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years construction experience
- Internship experience with a General Contractor or Mechanical Contractor
- Experience with Procore and/or Autodesk Construction Cloud
Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers on large-scale mechanical construction projects
- Prepare and track submittals and RFIs
- Maintain project documentation, logs, and reporting
- Assist with scheduling, coordination, and project tracking
- Help manage communication between field teams and office staff
- Utilize Procore and/or Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Support overall project compliance and documentation requirements
