About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Traveling Construction Foreman to lead our crews on various job sites. The ideal candidate will be an expert in the construction industry, capable of supervising all aspects of a job, ensuring safety and security, and maintaining project schedules. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to work with and manage employees effectively, and a commitment to upholding company values. The Foreman will act as a liaison between labor and management, read and interpret blueprints, manage project paperwork, create material lists, and request necessary equipment. This position involves travel and the ability to run multiple projects, sometimes with no direct supervision.

Requirements

• CDL - Class A
• NCCCO Crane Certification
• OSHA 30 Safety Training
• Substantial construction experience.
• Experience leading a crew
• Proficient and professional in speaking/writing English.
• Proficient at operating heavy equipment

Responsibilities

• Supervising every aspect of a job.
• Ensuring security and safety on the job site.
• Identifying and mitigating project risks to maintain schedules.
• Monitoring employee efforts, evaluating progress, and providing guidance to increase efficiency.
• Ensuring all completed work meets or exceeds quality and safety requirements, including relevant building codes.
• Acting as a liaison between labor and management for grievances and work environment complaints.
• Reading and following sketches and blueprints, and suggesting necessary changes.
• Completing project paperwork as needed.
• Creating material lists for assigned projects.
• Requesting equipment needed for the project.
• Enforcing all job site safety policies.
• Completing daily Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), including new JSAs for new job sites or tasks, and after 12 hours of work in a day.
• Completing daily Crane Inspection Reports if a crane is used.
• Completing daily Digger Derrick Inspection Reports if a truck is used.
• Performing periodic safety inspections of equipment.
• Following the company's Accident Protocol in case of an accident.
• Reporting any suspected intoxication immediately.
