About The Position

Rinvio is hiring a Traveling Autonomous Equipment Lead for field deployments of advanced construction technology and robotic/autonomous equipment on active project sites. This role involves heavy weekly travel to project sites across the U.S., with a schedule that may vary by deployment needs. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction, heavy equipment, field service, machinery, robotics, or autonomous equipment and possess strong mechanical aptitude.

Requirements

Construction, heavy equipment, field service, machinery, robotics, or autonomous equipment background
5+ years of hands-on equipment operation, repair, maintenance, or technical field support preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools, equipment diagnostics, electronics, and jobsite troubleshooting
Professional communication skills with field teams, operators, and technical support teams
Willingness to travel weekly and adapt to changing jobsite conditions
Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to lift up to 60 lbs

Nice To Haves

Experience with hydraulics, welding, fabrication, GPS/machine control, electrical, soldering, or construction tech is helpful

Responsibilities

Lead hands-on deployment and field support for autonomous construction equipment
Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain heavy equipment, sensors, electronics, and field hardware
Coordinate with operators, site contacts, field teams, and technical support groups
Support installation, calibration, and adjustment of components, sensors, and equipment systems
Identify issues, document field findings, communicate clearly, and support practical fixes
Maintain a professional, safety-minded field presence while representing Rinvio on project sites
