About The Position

The purpose of this position is to provide necessary labor to install Architectural Fabrication’s pre-manufactured products on our clients’ job sites using safe and efficient methods. You will be responsible for the physical installation of products like ACM paneling, metal wall paneling, custom metal facade panels, canopies, awnings, and sunshades while maintaining a high level of dependability and integrity in all customer interactions. This role supports our entire brand portfolio, including our primary turnkey business, Architectural Fabrication, and our growing distribution channel, Alumination Architectural Products.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience installing ACM and Metal Wall Paneling, along with other architectural metal products like canopies, awnings, sunshades.
  • Experience with field measuring facades to record proper product fabrication sizes and layouts.
  • Experience with hand tools and product alterations using shears, punches, rivet guns.
  • Experience applying waterproofing sealants and caulking.
  • Have reliable transportation to projects within DFW.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 75 or more pounds frequently.
  • Ability to travel out of town, out of state, with overnight stays.
  • Basic computer skills, including Google Drive, Docs, and Mail with the ability to use a tablet or cellular phone for time management procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install ACM and Metal wall paneling, awnings, sunshades, canopies, and custom metal products per provided drawings and specifications.
  • Read blueprints and shop drawings to understand necessary installation steps.
  • Assist in Field Measurements on job sites to ensure proper fabrication takes place.
  • Report to project sites within the DFW area daily.
  • Travel to project sites across the state of Texas, and sometimes other states, with overnight stays. Out of town travel will be in a company provided vehicle.
  • Operate specialized equipment including scaffolding, ladders, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts.
  • Perform quality assurance checks both post-production and post-installation.
  • Effectively communicate onsite conditions and project status to the project management office.
  • Work overtime as requested.
