Requirements
- Associate’s degree and 1 year Surgical Technology or Sterile Processing experience in a healthcare related setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Knowledge of surgical instrumentation/equipment and sterile processing essential.
Nice To Haves
- Certification as a sterile processing technician strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments.
- Prepares sterile trays and ensures quality control compliance.
- Participates in the development processes and procedures in the care and assembly of surgical instruments.
- Works with clinical staff to manage instrument inventory and availability.
