We are seeking an experienced Travel Safety Officer to support day-to-day construction activities and help maintain a safe, compliant, and productive job site. This position will work directly with project management, field supervision, subcontractors, and craft personnel to identify hazards, address unsafe conditions, and ensure company and project safety requirements are consistently followed. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an active construction environment, has a strong working knowledge of Cal/OSHA requirements, and is able to communicate effectively with both field personnel and management. This position requires FULL-TIME TRAVEL across the country to multiple job sites. The Travel Safety Officer is expected to be proactive, visible, and engaged in field operations. This is not a desk-based safety position. The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time in the field interacting with crews, identifying potential issues before they result in an incident, and working with project leadership to develop practical solutions. The position requires someone who can build relationships with field personnel while still maintaining accountability and enforcing project safety requirements. The Travel Safety Officer must be comfortable stopping work when necessary and communicating concerns professionally with employees, subcontractors, supervisors, and project management.
