Travel RN Stepdown| $2808 weekly
About The Position
This is a 13-week contract position for a Travel RN Stepdown in Atlanta, GA. The role involves working in a 16-20 bed Medical Stepdown Unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. Nurses will care for patients with various conditions including Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive Emergency, Respiratory Failure, COPD, Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM), Substance Abuse, Status Epilepticus, and Encephalopathy. A stipend package option is available to help maximize take-home pay. The position offers 12-hour day or night shifts, with a total of 48 hours per week.
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Stepdown/PCU or acute care experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for stepdown/PCU-level patients
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely charting/documentation
- Utilize critical thinking skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
