About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care for adult Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Observation patients in an acute care setting. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative healthcare team while caring for patients with a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions.
Requirements
- Active Colorado RN License or Compact RN License.
- Minimum three (3) years of RN Medical-Surgical experience.
- Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or similar inpatient experience required.
- Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and critical thinking skills.
- Current AHA BLS Certification.
- Current AHA ACLS Certification.
- Flu Vaccination required during flu season.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Observation patients.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
- Monitor patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Support Intermediate Care patients in the CCU when needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage as scheduled.
