Travel RN Inpatient Psychiatric Nights
About The Position
UCHealth Mountain Crest Behavioral Health is hiring a full-time travel registered nurse for its inpatient psychiatric unit in Fort Collins, serving adult and adolescent populations. The position is scheduled for 72 hours per two-week pay period on night shifts and pays $50.00 per hour plus a travel package or stipend. Local RN traveler contracts are available to candidates who reside within 75 miles. Assignments are 13 weeks, with extension options. The RN provides direct behavioral or mental health nursing care at the appropriate scope of practice to a complex psychiatric patient population. The nurse responds to patient-care situations using nursing standards and treatment protocols, initiates corrective action when a patient's presentation shows adverse symptoms, and handles critical, highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure. The role also contributes to safety and quality at the point of care, works with a multidisciplinary team, and may precept people new to behavioral health or UCHealth. Requirements
- CO RN license or eNLC privileges.
- One year of experience.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with the card in hand before the start date.
Responsibilities
