About The Position

This travel program allows nurses to work for a single company, Vibra Travels, rather than multiple agencies. Nurses will work with one recruiter from start to finish across multiple assignments. The program offers local and non-local positions with a competitive hourly rate and a tax-free stipend (if applicable), ensuring no pay cuts mid-contract. Benefits include a referral bonus and license reimbursement for new state licenses. Nurses can choose assignments at partner facilities within various health systems nationwide. The Registered Nurse is responsible for developing, implementing, evaluating, and revising patient and family care plans, aligning with Vibra Travels' mission and values. Care provision involves direct care, delegation, and supervision of nursing care according to the Nurse Practice Act. Key aspects of the RN role include demonstrating clinical competence, managing patient care, improving care quality, building professional relationships, utilizing professional skills, fulfilling hospital responsibilities, and developing specialty clinical expertise.

Requirements

  • 1 year as Registered Nurse in an ICU is required.
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
  • Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
  • Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
  • Current ACLS and BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required.
  • Vibra follows federal and state requirements for vaccinations, vaccination offerings, and disease screening.

Nice To Haves

  • AHA BLS and ACLS certification preferred and required by some clients.
  • CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) is preferred and may be required by some clients.
  • Other certifications such as TCRN, CEN and CMC may be required by some clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels.
  • Provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act.
  • Demonstrating clinical competence.
  • Managing patient care.
  • Improving quality of care.
  • Establishing professional relationships and utilizing professional skills.
  • Fulfilling responsibilities of the role of the hospital.
  • Developing clinical expertise per specialty.
  • Supervises Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides and Techs.
