About The Position
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Redding, CA. This role involves providing exceptional, compassionate care in collaboration with award-winning hospital partners across the nation. The position is for a 4-week assignment with shifts available for both days and nights.
Requirements
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
- Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC required upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation required upon hire.
- Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting required.
Responsibilities
- Performs triage, assessment, and patient monitoring
- Develops and implements care plans using the nursing process
- Administers medications and emergency treatments
- Communicates patient status with physicians and care team
- Educates patients and families on care and discharge
- Supervises support staff and coordinates care
- Maintains accurate EMR documentation and compliance
- Participates in trauma response and critical care stabilization
- Promotes patient safety and best practices
- Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department
