About the role As the Global Travel Risk & Security Awareness Senior Manager, you will lead a team with responsibility for Reckitt’s global travel risk management, employee security awareness an emergency preparedness capability, helping shape and mature a newly established role within the Global Corporate Security & Resilience function. The position plays a key role in strengthening employee preparedness, enhancing traveller safety, and driving a proactive security culture across Reckitt’s global operations. You will work closely with regional security teams, HR, communications, travel providers, and external security partners to improve employee engagement, programme adoption, preparedness, and intelligence-led travel risk mitigation. The role combines strategic programme development with operational delivery, supporting Reckitt’s wider resilience and people protection objectives. Location: Reckitt House (Stokley Park, Uxbridge)

Requirements

  • Experience in travel risk management, corporate security, security awareness, or a related field within a global organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise-wide programmes, frameworks, or employee engagement initiatives.
  • Experience managing duty of care obligations, travel risk management processes, and critical event management practices eg ISO31030
  • Experience managing third-party vendors, technology platforms, and external service providers within a corporate environment.
  • Experience influencing and collaborating across matrixed, multinational organisations and engaging effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Relevant professional qualifications or equivalent experience in security, risk, business, communications, or related disciplines preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and continuously improve Reckitt’s global travel risk management and critical event management programmes, ensuring alignment to duty of care obligations, enterprise risk appetite, and global operating requirements.
  • Develop and implement a global employee security awareness strategy and training framework that strengthens security culture, drives behavioural change, and improves employee preparedness across Reckitt’s global operations.
  • Support the monitoring of global threats, travel disruptions, and emerging risks through intelligence-led processes, ensuring timely escalation, employee communications, and coordination during critical events and incidents.
  • Oversee travel risk management, critical event management, and awareness platform providers, ensuring effective governance, service delivery, programme optimisation, and measurable adoption across the organisation.
  • Partner with HR, Communications, Travel, regional leadership, and external partners to embed travel risk management and security awareness into broader business operations, onboarding, and resilience activities.
  • Establish programme standards, KPIs, reporting mechanisms, and maturity metrics to measure programme effectiveness, employee engagement, behavioural change, and continuous improvement opportunities.
