About The Position

Trinity Health's FirstChoice program is seeking experienced Respiratory Therapists (RTs) for part-time, flexible assignments throughout their health system. This innovative program offers nationwide and regional opportunities to fill short and long-term assignments. As a FirstChoice RT, you will be qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and regions. You will be expected to know, understand, incorporate, and demonstrate standard elements of professional practice per AARC guidelines, acting independently and appropriately within your scope of knowledge and experience. You will retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes, collaborate with key stakeholders, and contribute to quality and improvement practices. The role requires agility, a willingness to take on new responsibilities, and the ability to embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.

Requirements

Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner - Accredited Respiratory Therapist program: Registry eligible.
Current CRT or RRT credential.
Valid State License in Respiratory Care if required in the state you are working.
Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with patients, physicians and other health personnel and department management during all situations and in line with our mission and values.
Analytical skills necessary to identify patient’s needs.
Demonstrated basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
