Travel Registered Nurse (77019)
About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Hill Correctional Center in Galesburg, IL. This role involves working at various facilities/locations throughout the state of Illinois, per contract needs, with each assignment restricted to one location. The RN will provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to a wide range of patient needs.
Requirements
- Licensed RN with an active license to practice in Illinois
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an RN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
- Must be 90+ miles from the selected facility
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
