About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Shawnee Correctional Center in Vienna, IL. This role involves working at various facilities/locations throughout the state of Illinois, based on contract needs, with each assignment restricted to a single location. The RN will provide holistic nursing care within their scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to a wide range of patient needs.
Requirements
- Licensed RN with an active license to practice in Illinois
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an RN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
- Must be 90+ miles from the selected facility
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
