About The Position
Centurion is seeking a Full-time Traveling Day Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Augusta State Medical Prison in Grovetown, GA. This role involves providing holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to address patient needs. Travel RNs in Georgia can earn up to $2200/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position.
Requirements
- Georgia RN license or the ability to obtain a license
- At least two (2) years of RN experience
- Must live 50 miles or more from facility
- Must have open availability to travel throughout the state of Georgia as needed per contract needs
- Current CPR/BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience not required, but preferred
Responsibilities
- Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor.
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
