About The Position

Centurion is seeking full-time Travel Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Teams. These positions offer opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees. The Travel Program RN will work at various facilities/locations within assigned states, per contract needs, with each assignment restricted to one location. The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of the patient. Typical assignments are 14 weeks in length.

Requirements

Licensed RN with an active license to practice in the assigned state.
Minimum of one year of work experience as an RN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility.
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

Corrections experience preferred.
Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
