About The Position

Centurion is seeking a Full-time Day Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Jefferson City Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. Travel RNs assigned to Missouri earn up to $2,021/week including a non-taxed weekly stipend. Our travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees with opportunities throughout the country. The Travel Program RN will work at various facilities/locations throughout the state of Missouri, per contract needs, with each assignment restricted to one location. The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of the patient.

Requirements

Associate's degree required
Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience
Must have open availability to travel throughout the state as needed per contract needs
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Must live 90+ miles from selected facility
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Responsibilities
