Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Giving Home Health Care is seeking passionate and skilled Travel Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide in-home care to individuals impacted by health conditions related to their work in nuclear facilities for the Department of Energy. This role offers a change of pace from hospital or clinical settings, providing flexibility and the opportunity to explore new locations while making a difference. The position involves providing quality care and comfort to patients, allowing them to remain safely in their homes. Requirements
- Must have valid compact license.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Compact RN License required
Responsibilities
- Complete nursing assessment.
- Monitor for changes in patient condition such as weight loss/gain, self-care abilities, indicators of disease progression.
- Take vitals.
- Monitor GI intake and output.
- Provide education and training to patients, family, and home health aide.
- Medication management.
- Perform other duties based on patient care plan.
- Care for individuals from basic medical management up to end of life care.
