About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Evening Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Roxbury Correctional Institution in Hagerstown, MD. The Travel Program RN will work at various facilities/locations throughout the state of Maryland, based on contract needs, with each assignment restricted to one location. The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Registered Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of the patient. Centurion travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible employees with opportunities throughout the country.
Requirements
- Licensed RN with an active license to practice in Maryland.
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an RN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital, or long-term care facility.
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
